Basic Military Riding (BMR) is a spearhead, one-of-a-kind, online horse-training curriculum that sets forth, explains, demonstrates, and insists upon the proven methods of the masters and the cavalries of the world.
"Established by reason; justified by experience..." means it's proven. This IS horsemanship. Technically, BMR makes horses and riders who are calm, forward-thinking, straight-going, and manageable…whether for utility (like law enforcement or stock-handling); or for elite sport; or even for the pleasure rider who wants real friendship with their horse.
Jane Frizzell assembled BMR. Administrator and custodian, Jane’s one of few trained riders worldwide actually finished by a cavalry chief: Major Anders Lindgren, Stroemsholm, SW. What she teaches and trains holds up per the horsemen of Ft. Riley, Saumur, Warendorf, Tor di Quinto, AND Vienna…take your pick.
Have you double-checked your program to verify it conforms to the instructions of these schools ? Because that's what your riding and horsemanship must hold up against. This is the easiest, simplest, handiest, most durable, most fun riding there is. This IS riding. Which way do you want to ride ?
If you've read this far you're doing well. Now comes a choice. At this stage you can either ask for the Instructions List to inspect them on your own, or start in on the pre-requisites -- which include the Instructions and puts them to work.
BMR Curriculum
Start in on the pre-requisites: "Prepare and allow" is a motto we really use. BMR training starts with preparation for understanding. Courses 101-105 are the most basic pre-requisite.
